Travel Nurse Job Details
- Position: Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job
- Duration: 14 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,360 – $1,430
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Shifts Per Week: 3
- Schedule Notes: Weekend shifts required
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- End Date: 01/02/2027
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Postpartum, Mother-Baby, or similar nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS certification
- NRP certification required
- Travel nursing experience preferred in a high-volume, fast-paced healthcare setting
- Ability to work required weekend shifts
- Strong communication, adaptability, and patient-centered care skills
Postpartum RN Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns
- Monitor patient recovery, assess vital signs, and support postpartum education
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to ensure safe, effective patient care
- Respond to changing patient needs in a dynamic postpartum unit environment
- Educate and support families throughout the postpartum recovery process
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold excellent clinical standards
