- Hours Per Week: 36
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
- Schedule: Every other weekend
- EMR: Cerner
- Openings: 1
Job Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Hospital experience preferred
- Orthopedic nursing experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and work well as part of a team
- Patient-focused mindset, adaptability, and commitment to high-quality clinical care
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to orthopedic and postoperative patients in a busy inpatient unit
- Perform dressing changes, suture and staple removal, and support wound care needs
- Manage Foley catheters, NG tubes, and wound vac maintenance and removal
- Monitor patient status, document care in Cerner, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Assist with mobility, fall prevention, and patient safety using unit equipment as needed
- Float to other Med-Surg units when required
- Deliver compassionate, team-oriented care in a fast-paced hospital environment
