Job Details
- Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Nursing
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 – $2,100
- Schedule: Monday through Friday; self-scheduling available
- Floating: May float within EP and Stress Lab departments
- Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida, a welcoming coastal community known for its beaches, outdoor recreation, and laid-back Gulf Coast atmosphere
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with Structural Heart procedures preferred
- Experience with IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR preferred
- Strong knowledge of PCI and advanced cardiac catheterization procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment with strong teamwork and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related cardiovascular procedures
- Assist with procedures such as TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, DCCV, TEE, implants, Impella, and IABP support
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes
- Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and the procedural team to support efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate documentation using unit systems and follow established clinical protocols
- Adapt to self-scheduling expectations and contribute to call coverage as needed
- Support a patient-centered environment with professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail
