Travel RN Job Details
- Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
- Specialty: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,090 – $2,200
- Operating Room Environment: 11-suite OR with approximately 25-35 cases per day
- Documentation: EPIC experience preferred
- Orientation: Floor-specific orientation provided
- On-Call: 2-4 call shifts in a 6-week period, including weekends and overnights
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
- CNOR certification preferred
- Must be able to scrub and circulate
- Strong experience with thoracic, trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, and robotics cases required
- Comfort working in a high-volume surgical setting
- EPIC experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient perioperative nursing care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room
- Scrub and circulate a broad range of surgical cases
- Support specialties including ortho, neuro, maxillofacial, ENT, plastics, vascular, colorectal, general, GYN, robotics, urology, spine, podiatry, thoracic, and breast
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, sterile technique, and workflow efficiency
- Participate in on-call coverage as assigned
- Adapt to a busy OR environment with changing case needs throughout the day
