Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Modesto, California

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
- Preferred: 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Preferred: 1+ year of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years
- ACLS certification preferred
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Support safe, effective care during delivery and newborn transition
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in maternal or fetal condition
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote positive outcomes
- Assist with high-risk obstetric care and advanced neonatal resuscitation support as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
- Deliver patient education and emotional support throughout the birthing experience
