Job Details
- Position Type: Travel Cath Lab Tech / Cath Lab Technologist
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 – $1,970
- Schedule Notes: Busy Monday through Wednesday schedule with lighter Thursday/Friday volume; call required with self-scheduling opportunities
- Setting: Cardiac catheterization lab with procedure rooms and holding bays
- Location: Weatherford, TX — a growing Texas community with small-town charm, easy access to Dallas-Fort Worth, and a supportive local atmosphere
Cath Lab Tech Requirements
- RAD Tech experience required
- Must be registered and able to assist with cath lab X-ray cases
- Experience circulating, scrubbing, monitoring, and/or pre-op/recovery preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a busy cardiac care environment
- Comfortable taking call and supporting a high-volume procedural schedule
- Flexibility to assist other departments as needed
Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures in the cath lab
- Support cases such as right and left heart caths, peripheral and carotid interventions, PE/DVT cases, Impella/IABP, TEE/cardioversion, pacemakers, IVC filters, and ECMO cannulations
- Provide circulating, scrub, monitoring, pre-op, and recovery support as assigned
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the clinical team to maintain smooth patient flow and efficient turnaround times
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and high-performing procedural environment
- Participate in call coverage and support the unit’s self-scheduling needs
