Job Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must maintain a permanent residence at least 50 miles from the facility
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, monitor, and treat patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent needs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely, effective care
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
- Document care accurately in the EMR and maintain strong clinical communication
- Promote a safe, compassionate, and efficient care environment for patients and families
