- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift Duration: 8-hour nights
- Shift Time: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Rotation: Includes every-other-weekend rotation
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
MRI Technologist Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience preferred/required
- Current MRI Technologist certification or equivalent credential
- Ability to work evening and night shifts with a weekend rotation
- Strong commitment to patient safety, comfort, and service
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital imaging and radiology environment
- Must be comfortable completing standard credentialing and verification requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process clearly to help reduce anxiety
- Ensure patient safety before, during, and after scans
- Operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Communicate with radiology team members and support efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow department procedures
- Support a positive patient experience through professionalism and compassionate care
