Job Description
Medical Assistant – Outpatient Clinic
Experienced Medical Assistant needed for a fast-paced outpatient clinic. This temp-to-perm healthcare opportunity is ideal for a Certified Medical Assistant who enjoys patient care, clinical support, and efficient clinic flow in a busy medical environment.
This on-site opportunity is located in a vibrant and accessible medical and urban district known for its dynamic healthcare environment and convenient city access.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $860-$920
- Location: On-site outpatient clinic
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Start Date: Start date to be discussed
- Duration: 13-week assignment with temp-to-perm potential
- Setting: Clinic / outpatient practice
Job Requirements
- At least 18 months of Certified Medical Assistant experience required
- Previous clinic, ambulatory care, or outpatient experience preferred
- EPIC experience required
- Ability to support patient intake, chart updates, and clinical communication
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
- Strong professionalism, organization, and patient service skills
Responsibilities
- Perform EKGs and obtain vital signs
- Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
- Update patient charts accurately in the EMR / EPIC system
- Answer clinical phone lines and respond to patient messages
- Assist with stress testing as needed
- Support daily clinic workflow and maintain efficient patient throughput
- Follow clinical protocols, documentation standards, and privacy practices
