Travel Occupational Therapist – Home Health in Waldorf, Maryland

- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920-$2,060
- Productivity Expectation: 30
- Weekend/On-Call: No weekend or on-call requirement
- Mileage: Reimbursed between patient visits
- Coverage Area: Support patients across nearby local communities in Southern Maryland
- Dress Code: Navy blue
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
- Active Occupational Therapist license or certification as required in Maryland
- At least 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience preferred
- Prior home health experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in a home-based care setting
- Excellent communication, time management, and documentation skills
- Ability to travel between patient visits throughout the day
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients in the home setting and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide skilled home health therapy interventions to improve functional independence and safety
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed to support positive outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, fall prevention, safety, and home exercises
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with clinical and compliance standards
- Coordinate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
- Travel between assigned visits while maintaining productivity expectations
