Job Requirements
- Active North Carolina Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- NRP preferred
- At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
- Comfort working in critical care, adult care, and NICU/pediatric environments
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Support critical care teams across assigned units and hospital floors
- Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment, including ventilators and non-invasive support devices
- Assess patient needs and respond promptly to changes in respiratory status
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, effective patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and follow established clinical protocols
- Contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment
