Travel Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) – Springfield, Missouri 65806

Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Behavioral Health / Psych RN experience within the last year
- Experience working in an acute inpatient psychiatric or mental health setting
- Comfort caring for patients across the lifespan, including children, teens, adults, and seniors
- Strong communication, observation, and de-escalation skills
- Ability to complete paper documentation accurately and timely
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients experiencing behavioral health and mental health challenges
- Support patient stabilization, safety, and therapeutic treatment plans in an inpatient psych unit
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition or behavior
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver individualized, age-appropriate psychiatric care
- Complete accurate paper charting and maintain clear communication with the team
- Help foster a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff in a behavioral health setting
