Job Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain
- Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Experience with inpatient rehabilitation, neuro rehab, or acute care therapy preferred
- Vestibular rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
- BLS certification required
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to meet pre-start compliance deadlines
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, function, balance, and safety
- Provide vestibular rehabilitation interventions as part of the therapy program
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab professionals, and therapy staff to support optimal patient outcomes
- Document care accurately and maintain timely charting standards
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and home exercise techniques
- Contribute to a supportive, patient-centered rehab team focused on quality care
