Job Details
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health / Hospice
- Location: Charleston, WV 25311
- Coverage Area: Kanawha County
- Duration: 9 weeks
- Start Date: 08/28/2026
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Shift Length: 8 hours
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Shifts Per Week: 5
- On Call / Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend and one additional day per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120 – $2,230
- Mileage: Reimbursed between visits from first patient to last patient
- Education: Associate degree required
- Certification: Current CPR certification required
Job Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- Home health nursing experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage patient visits efficiently
- Reliable transportation for travel between patient visits
Responsibilities
- Complete OASIS visits and provide skilled nursing care in the home setting
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and symptom management
- Maintain productivity expectations while delivering high-quality patient care
- Work scheduled weekends and additional on-call coverage as assigned
