Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Towson, Maryland
Experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week onsite opportunity in Towson, Maryland. Join a fast-paced surgical team and deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in a collaborative general operating room setting near Baltimore.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,970-$2,080
- Location: Towson, Maryland 21204
- Setting: General Operating Room
- Start Date: 9/15/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Work Arrangement: On-site

Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland or compact RN license, as applicable
- Strong clinical knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, sterile technique, and infection prevention
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative surgical team environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and patient advocacy skills
- BLS certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures
- Maintain a sterile field and uphold infection prevention protocols at all times
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and surgical staff to support efficient workflow
- Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition during surgical procedures
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support patient safety, comfort, and education before and after procedures
