ICU Registered Nurse Travel Assignment in Albany, NY 12208
Experienced ICU Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Albany, New York. Bring your trauma, surgical, and neurological critical care experience to a fast-paced Adult ICU while supporting high-acuity patients in New York’s Capital Region.

- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Setting: Adult ICU / Critical Care
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patient care
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic electronic health record experience required
- Trauma Level One experience required
- Strong critical care assessment, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a high-acuity hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Provide expert bedside care to critically ill ICU patients in an Adult Critical Care unit
- Monitor patient status, interpret changes, and respond quickly to evolving needs
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support recovery
- Administer medications and treatments according to critical care protocols and nursing standards
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic
- Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ICU setting
- Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail throughout the travel assignment
