ICU Registered Nurse Travel Nursing Job in Albany, NY

- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Special Requirement: Epic experience required
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
Job Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing or critical care staff experience
- Experience caring for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Trauma Level One experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill ICU patients
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes quickly, and respond appropriately in a fast-paced critical care setting
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes
- Administer medications and perform nursing interventions in accordance with ICU standards
- Document care accurately using Epic
- Support patients and families with professionalism, compassion, and clear communication
- Maintain compliance with unit procedures, safety standards, and dress code expectations
