Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel RN) – Nashville, TN 37203
Travel RN opportunity for an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in Nashville, Tennessee. Join a dynamic women’s and children’s unit and deliver compassionate obstetric nursing care in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare setting.

Job Details

- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 – $1,650
- Setting: On-site women’s and children’s unit
- Schedule Highlights: 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- AWHONN Intermediate certification or CEFM required
- Experience caring for laboring patients and newborns immediately after delivery
- Experience circulating and recovering C-section patients
- Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients and their newborns
- Support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C procedures, cerclage, and tub labor
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to clinical changes
- Assist with immediate newborn care following delivery
- Circulate and recover C-section patients as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and unit support staff to maintain a smooth workflow
- Document accurately using unit-based charting systems
- Float first when needed per unit policy
- Promote a positive patient experience through shared decision-making and attentive communication
