- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital / Acute Inpatient Rehab
- Location: Billings, MT 59102
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: August 31, 2026
- Schedule: Day shift
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630-$1,750
Job Requirements
- Active Montana Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- At least 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology, preferably in inpatient rehabilitation or acute rehab
- Strong interest in adult neuro rehabilitation, orthopedic rehab, and complex medical rehabilitation
- Experience with dysphagia treatment, cognitive-linguistic therapy, and communication disorders preferred
- Team-oriented approach with excellent communication, collaboration, and clinical support skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced rehab environment and support individualized patient care plans
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans that support functional recovery, independence, and quality of life
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, amputations, and orthopedic conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and the interdisciplinary rehab team
- Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans to meet changing goals and discharge needs
- Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, high-quality rehabilitation care
