Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Chemo certification preferred
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and a willingness to learn
- Comfortable supporting a 1:4 to 1:5 patient ratio in a fast-paced inpatient setting
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for oncology patients
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition promptly
- Administer medications and treatments according to unit protocols and physician orders
- Support patient education and reinforce care plans with patients and families
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive outcomes
- Assist with common unit procedures and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a dynamic hospital environment
