NICU Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment in McKinney, TX

Job Details

- Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
- Location: McKinney, TX 75069
- Openings: 4 positions available
- Setting: Level III NICU
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing or specialty experience
- Level III NICU experience required
- Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- Ability to attend deliveries, including C-sections
- Meditech experience preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Assist with deliveries, including high-acuity and cesarean cases
- Support respiratory care needs using common NICU equipment and therapies
- Accurately document patient care, assessments, and clinical observations
- Collaborate with physicians, neonatal providers, and the care team to promote the best possible outcomes
- Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a fast-paced clinical setting
