- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,630 – $1,750
- Unit Environment: High-acuity surgical unit with advanced technology and a team-oriented culture
Job Requirements
- Current CST certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience
- Level I trauma experience required
- Experience supporting CVOR cases strongly preferred
- Strong background in general surgery and multi-specialty OR workflows preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based surgical environment
- Flexible, accountable, timely, and dependable work style
- Familiarity with Epic and modern surgical equipment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for procedures and ensure all instruments, supplies, and equipment are ready
- Assist surgeons and the perioperative team during surgical cases, including CVOR procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and support safe, efficient surgical workflow
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond quickly in a high-acuity environment
- Collaborate with circulating nurses, anesthesia providers, and other OR staff to promote excellent patient care
- Support a variety of specialties and contribute to smooth daily case progression
- Follow all unit protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements
