Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Willoughby, Ohio
Travel RN opportunity in Willoughby, Ohio: join a supportive Medical/Surgical and telemetry team, care for adult patients, and enjoy a 13-week assignment near Cleveland, Ohio.
Join a dynamic Medical/Surgical nursing team in the Willoughby, Ohio area, a convenient Northeast Ohio location with easy access to Cleveland-area amenities and a welcoming community feel. This 13-week travel nurse assignment offers a supportive environment, strong clinical collaboration, and the chance to care for a diverse adult patient population on a 45-bed med-surg unit with 28 telemetry beds. Nurses will appreciate the added support of a virtual nurse resource available hospital-wide.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Setting: Medical/Surgical unit with telemetry support
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- Contract Type: Travel nursing assignment
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate inpatient nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Comfort working night shift travel nurse schedules with rotating weekend and holiday coverage
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
- Telemetry nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult Medical/Surgical patients
- Monitor patients, assess changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive outcomes
- Support patients with a wide range of medical and surgical needs, including telemetry cases
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and patient safety standards
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented care environment with reliable clinical support
